Konig Hypergram on SX4

This is the new set that I bought. 17x9" +40 Carbon Metallic with machined lip. The Motegi's will be moved over to the CX-3. I didn't mind the Motegi's but the car being black and the wheel also is black didn't do it for me. The 4th wheel did show up today as promised by UPS so the set is complete (only 3 were delivered yesterday).

They do bolt on (see pics), still have room on the inside to the strut (my fingers fit through but not as easy as with the 8.5" Motegi wheel). Will still run a 245/45/17 tire and I'm most likely going to mount up a new set of Indy 500s. Don't know when that will be I also want to make sure that the new tires won't rub on the mldgs so I need to do some more checks.

Gotta say it looks f-ing incredible.................stay tuned for a wheel reveal video and test fit footage also (yes I'm going to mount them up again on the car when I do the vid).

Here's unboxing and test fit video. Test fit was done on Mazda CX-3 as I wanted to see if this wheel also will fit on that car. I will film a test fit vid on the SX4 in the next week or so as I wanted to put the wheels back on the car to confirm certain areas for clearance.

Looks good. FYI the 3m headlight restoration kit brought my headlights back to crystal clarity. Yours look like they could use a good buffing.

Semi cruddy night shot when I got to work this morning (the machine lip really comes through the darkness):

So the last 3 days that I have been driving the car.............................does it rub???? The answer to that question is...............................no............... for now. Just like the 8.5" Motegi setup over regular bumps and stuff it has not rubbed on the inside or on the wheel well mldgs. I'm actually shocked that so far I don't need to mod the mldgs inside the wheel well. However I'm sure if I went over a huge pothole at speed it will definitely hit.

I obviously don't purposely pound over potholes and major bumps if I can help it so for now I'm good. Amazing that I can fit a 9" wide wheel on this car. For perspective back in the 90's I had a 1996 Pontiac Formula (sister car to the Camaro), that car came with 245/50/16 tires on a 16x8" wheel, the upgrade size to that was a 17x9" wheel with a 275/40/17 so basically I'm now running a wheel that a muscle car used back in the 90's. CRAZY!!!!!
