I did double check this fact but I forgot about it when I posted up above. The new 9" wide wheel I'm getting is actually going to be 0.75 lbs. lighter than the current Motegi 8.5" wheel I'm running, of course both are flow formed wheels.
Can't wait to get them, SX4 will get a MAJOR esthetic upgrade compared to the Traklite wheel and a tiny boost in handling due to less unsprung weight.

In anticipation of my new wider wheels showing up I took a pic of a true side view of the car now with the 17x8.5" MR145 Motegi wheels.
Anyone prefer the all black look?
These wheels will most likely get moved to the CX-3 as the tire size on the Mazda (235/50/17) can be mounted on a max 8.5" wide wheel.
Now what to do with my Konig Ultraform wheels.........

3 of them (back to using a Konig wheel) showed up today along with some bananas and avocados................actually 1 of them according to UPS got missorted and ended up in Caledon so it is making it's way to the proper depot and will be delivered tomorrow.
Actual reveal and test fit tomorrow ALA weather co-operates.
