    Those things don't protect, they damage more than protect. If you're worried about chips in the paint, use the clear plastic protector sheet applied to the paint. Looks better and works better.

    That's my opinion, to each their own though.
    2009 SX4 AWD hatch, auto, 2.0L. JX model I think.

    Seconded, bras damage paint. I have firsthand experience with this.
