Hello all, i was wondering if anyone has any experience removing these exterior plastic door trims:

I like the look of the car without them and was wondering if they are easily removed.

A little heat and a plastic scraper/ trim tool will help here, they are double sided taped on. A rubber wheel on a slow drill will get the tough to remove tape left on the panel off.

Thanks, how high is the possibility that the trims already left a permanent mark on the paint (either from fading or from the glue)? The paint itself is alright even though its already 10+ years old

Extremely likely. I have a 2009 I got about a year ago. I promptly removed the badging on the back but it's easy to see where the badges were, the outlines are clearly visible up close.

No, the clear coat is peeling in other places on the hatch so I didn't mess with it. No point polishing a turd.
