Nice looking SX4. I ended up getting mine in the same color, even in the same town lol.
I love this car. I live in Oregon now and my SX4 has taken me all over this great country of ours!

Fun fact, SX4s can fit down ATV tracks. Don't ask me how I know this or how my paint job is doing.

That's one more for sunlight copper metallic! Thanks
Today I got some maintenance done after getting the sedan 17's on. These tires needed rebalanced and I got it a front end alignment. Oh how nice of an improvement those made on my drive, then the water pump failed today at the end. Haha what a day.

Then when I discovered the water pump death:

Thanks, I had to rescue myself this week. First time this machine had to be towed, water pump failed.

Sunday's time was spent replacing the SX4 water pump. Don't know the mileage on this swapped engine but it was the original pump.
I did learn the path to r&r the pump out the top without removing the exhaust manifold.
The OE pump had two weep holes and no coolant ever leaked out, never knew it was bad until the impeller wore through the housing.

I got the front end an alignment done and swapped on my 17" sedan wheels after balancing the same day the water pump went out

I will be swapping on my Kizashi 17s in the next week or so, just waiting on the weather to turn. I'll probably throw g-max as-05 rubber on them. I replaced the Michelin pilot sport AS3's I had on the ST with the same tire and have found them comparable. They're marketed as a UHP all season but they're really more of a 3 season.

Finally, better late than never but on time would be best. 6 speed manual maintenance nothing but the best!

July 1st update: I've owned and driven for 7 months now, It's great!
Still rolling on the SX4 sedan 17"wheels, and riding on Eibach pro kit lowering springs with the Addco bar out back.
I installed a new OE oil dip stick this week, the original lost the handle. This morning 148K+ miles and get more daily.
To date the water pump replacement was the only major emergency work needed in my ownership, the rest of jobs were just normal maintenance and some cosmetic/comfort improvements.
