All recall letters I had received have indications of what is to be fixed.
I will be careful of giving away personsl info during call. It is SuzukiCare number.

i got a postcard for my 2010 sx4 which was a total loss a while ago but I'm pretty sure it's for the sensor under the passenger seat recall.

I've gotten TONS of the seat sensor recalls for my 2008 SX4... the first couple of times I called them they said they can't/won't replace it until AFTER it fails.

I've never heard of a recall where you have to wait for the part in question to fail before replacement. I though the whole point of a recall is to replace the part BEFORE failure.

I've just been ignoring the mailings the last few years... maybe I should call and see if things have chanced since this recall first came out.
