Question Back in the SX4 Game

So I have been away for some time, maybe 8-9 years. Well I have recently started messing around in the Gambler500 realm of car stuff. Which has me always perusing the less than $1200 on the good old Criagslist, well I came across on SX4 sedan that might be a great daily driver, with a little bit of work.

    Here is the add:

What are thoughts? Do you think that for the mechanically inclined, this might be a somewhat easy fix?

I have not taken a look at it in person. But if it is as simple as it says, than I gonna make an offer.
So let me get to my question:

Do you think that, by visual inspection, you should be able to tell if the other pulleys have been damaged?

Also, anybody do a A/C delete?

    Thanks for reading my ramblings.
    Cheers

I am always looking at Craigslist for stuff like that. There's always stuff saying "easy fix" and blah blah blah, but if it is so easy, why don't they fix it? Or when they say something is wrong, they are incorrect in their assessment.
