Anybody ever swap a 6 speed manual J20 B trans into the older J20a car

As the title says .... wondering if it is feasible to swap the standard 6 speed from a 2010 and newer into an older 2009 to 2007 SX4 standard outfitted car? Is the bell housing boltpattern the same for the VVT J20B to the older J20A? Would there be ECM issues are the speedo take pff and other wires compatible. Asking because it is difficult to find a Standard 2010 or newer to buy in my area but I want that trans!

Hardly any cars but lots of 6sp AWD trans. in wreckers across Canada:

edit: couldn't put the link here with the list of trannies in Canada so go to www.car-part.com put in the particulars (2010-13 SX4 AWD 6sp trans to see the list).

Yes noticed the same thing, so that is why if it wouldn't just be easier to swP a 6 speed in where a 5 speed was? Is there any electrical incompatibility problem?
