New shifter kit from Likewise.

This is the perfect height/weight. The knob is 6 inches from the steering wheel.

This paired with my buddy's custom made 6 speed short shift kit, makes changing gears fast. The throw between gears has been reduced a good 40%.

I have been daily driving my sx4 for the past 3 weeks. Happy to say no issues. Just need to improve a few things like heat management around the manifold and will be adding a power steering oil cooler and some npboosted aftermarket coilpacks.

Follow my build on instagram @SamusDesbiens a lot has changed since I posted on here and more modifications coming. I hit 250km/hr... and everything was stable. No shakes or vibrations. I didn't expect the needle to hit that awd light lol

Just another update.... Finished heat management : frozen boost 7 row engine oil cooler with improved racing thermostat sandwich plate. Titanium heat shield and radiator shroud. Block off plate redirecting cold air from the fog light opening directly to the engine oil cooler. Aluminum hood louvers. Custom hood turbo inlet air feed.

Bought a very low milleage spare 6 speed awd transmission for r&d. Noticed the final drive gear is a 12 bolt versus 10 bolt configuration on the torsen front lsd... waiting on supplier's response to see if that can be adapted to the 6 speed instead of the 5 speed... if not, I'm getting a ceika 4 piston front brake kit instead of the torsen lsd.

Next up : home made 60a polyeurethane engine mount inserts. Sandblast and powdercoat wheels triple bronze color Michelin pilot sport 4s tires. Np boosted coilpacks, Power ******** 220amp high output alternator... stay tuned for more.
