once you've bypassed the AC, let us know if there was any noticeable performance gains.

I would need to dyno it before and after. Its probably not going to be much but every bit counts on these cars.

I hear ya.. My AC is fine right now but if it ever goes, I'm not sure it would be worth getting if fixed. I'm just guessing it would be in the $1500 range. If it was 5 hp, that would be significant. Not worth the expense of a dyno I'm sure, but if you've got money to burn, by all means let us know,

I was exactly quote 1500$ from the Suzuki dealership.... It wasn't something covered in my extended warranty... AC delete is the way to go fro me.. no point carrying a condenser and compressor with all the tubing. I will however keep the fan and put it on the rad.

Its been awhile since I have posted... here is whats up with my sx4:

Doing a projector LED retrofit on my second pair of headlights. Painted them Obsidian black subaru color. Projectors are coming along with shrouds. Just waiting on the long shipping....

DDM tuning v3 mini h1 2.5 inch projectors with big turbine shrouds. 6000k katar led fogs with Quakeworld 4000 lux per hi/low bulb 6500k color.

These should light up the roads without blinding everybody.

Debadged the hatch door and put my WRC badge. Going to relocate the yellow sx4 badge on the front grill as in the picture.

Going to paint the grill same color as the headlights. Hella horns are going to be repainted the same color as the sx4 badge.

AC/delete and bypass coming soon too. Belt 6pk1995 is ready to be installed.

4 new ngk iridium 9 spark plugs. Going to clean the camshaft position sensor or at least take a good look at it.

I've changed my mind and decided to go with HIDs instead due to winter and LED bulbs do not properly heat up the housings.

I haven't posted any updated pics of my sx4 in awhile.

Here is what I changed during the weekend while suffering from a stomach bug:

A.c. delete and bypass.
Installed my custom lights and disabled DRL.
Repainted the front grill Obsidian black (same as my headlights)
Added my sx4 logo in the front grill.
Repainted the trans cooler mount.
Cleaned the trans cooler.

Soon :
6000k LED fogs.
4 new ngk iridium spark plugs.
Camshaft position sensor cleaning.
Dynamat soundproofing for all doors and hatch.
Going to update my Suzuki Garmin GPS maps (dated 2012 lol).
4X KYB yellow struts with eibach springs.
4X xxr 527 mags 17X8.75 w/235 50 tire.

My phone is a potatoe when it comes to taking pictures. I will see if I can post one or two on here. The light output has easily doubled from stock. I had tried Diode dynamics LEDs but they were not as bright as HIDs. LEDs seem to loose lots of brightness over distance... they still have a long way to go to catch up to HIDs.

Finally found the right belt for the j20b ac bypass. Gates 6pk1965 sits perfectly. I think the OEM belt is about 2005mm and this one is 1965mm, pair that with a good set of iridium spark plugs and the car feels more responsive.

New Spark Plug already? What is your Km? How the OEM 9ne looks when you took it out?
Love to have more pep but could not live without AC..
