    IBT says Baleno is coming to the U.S.

    I really doubt that is correct though. That would entail Suzuki Motor of America creating a new automotive division and I think we would have heard something about that by now.
    Paper work would have had to be submitted to the EPA already and surely someone would have picked up on that.
    I think more likely is that the author of that article isn't quite aware that Suzuki discontinued car sales in the U.S. back in 2013.
    Wouldn't it be nice though if the author was actually right?

    As for now I think it's got something to do with this sentence from Rushlane:

    Looks like a Nissan, are they still sharing car platforms together?

    the original Baleno was named the Esteem in N/A. It is really intriguing why these cars are being shipped to US. If it is indeed for R&D, be prepared to see a new Nissan model in the near future. I don't think Suzuki will make a comeback anytime soon.
