    Common User Title Changed

    Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I changed the usertitle from "veteran" to "journeyman"

Although, in one definition of the word, veteran does fit, I did get have a couple military veterans point out to me that the title might seem misleading, as a common definition of the word in the USA is someone who has previously served in the military.

Out of respect for the various military and military veterans we have on this site, I think the change is appropriate.

I have changed to title to "journeyman" because, in certain trades, a journeyman is a person who has completed an apprenticeship, and is starting out on their own with their trade. It is appropriate for the people who are new here and who have contributed, yet have not had considerable time or posts here.

    Have a good day everyone,

Somehow I knew this would come up.

    Short answer: No
Long answer: No because it would be an example of political correctness run amok.
