If only it could be here in the US. Heck I would love to just see a Swift sold here.

I am betting that if suzuki returns to rally it will be in a swift. As far as the swift coming to the states goes, im not holding my breath.

oh, sunday - that's a last year R concept, based on the discontinued model.

There you go fellahs:

Oh, and I must say: AWESOME. If the Swift comes to the U.S., even in non-turbo form, it will likely be the replacement for the Yaris.

sure there is, it is a 1.6 liter...

if this model was offered in the us with awd i would trade my car in, if it was offered in the us without awd i would trade my fiance's car in.

SUZUKI GIVE US THE SWIFT ALREADY!!!

does anyone else think suzuki is dropping clues about a return to rally? the S concept is Suzuki racing yellow and powered by a 1.6 liter, awd is offered in some swift models now also... it's almost a s1600 rally car already.

If suzuki does return to WRC i expect it will be in a swift rather than an sx4.

if it's 1.6L, then:
- it won't pump out more than 140 PS
- goodbye dreams of VW turbo
- the new sport will be admiral Slow :( (but... it's nothing RRM wouldn't find a solution to :D)

1.6 direct injection can maybe achieve 140hp... On a car with variable valve lift, 1.6 litres (i. e. honda, achieved easily 127hp on a single cam, and on a twin cam did from 160hp to 185hp depending on the version of the b16)
