Hey everyone. I was politely reminded that I had not fulfilled my end of the bargain to those forum members who donated money to help support this forum for the past several months. As such, I'm getting myself in gear and fulfilling my promises to all of you.

Here are a list of forum maintenance and upgrades I have completed over the past couple of days:

- Upgraded to a newer version of VBulletin. This is a transparent upgrade, but a very beneficial one.
- Fixed the front page rotation. Smugmug recently updated their service and it broke the slideshow. All fixed (http://clubsx4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5628).
- Fixed Tapatalk. It never worked right and I got frustrated and stopped trying. Yup, that's 100% working now (http://clubsx4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5629), too!
- Updated the forum's header (http://clubsx4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5630) to look much cleaner and nicer!
- Added the ability for all members to upload images (http://clubsx4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5633) to the site instead of hosting them remotely!
- Increased the inbox size (http://clubsx4.com/forum/showthread.php) for all members!
- Added a donor badge system (http://clubsx4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5635) to show all members who have donated in the past or will donate in the future. Thanks!

I know the site has been down for a few days, but I wanted to get everything done and make sure it was done right. I apologize for the downtime and hope you will enjoy the updates to the site.

:encore:

I do realize that the "What's New" tab's default is VBulletin's "Activity Stream," which I am not a huge fan of.
I will try to find a way to fix that here shortly.

For now the smaller "New Posts" just below the buttons takes you to the original format.

Looks good man, great work with the site. But ya, the "Whats new" tab could do with some refining :p

Thanks everyone. VBulletin reps insist that the "Activity Stream" is the future of forums, and that's why they keep it up there and not let you change it easily.

However, I think I found a workaround.

I note that VBulletin 'jacked the Suzuki "S" on my web browser's Club SX4 icon and replaced it with a "V." Uncool.

I got that issue once, but wasn't able to duplicate it.

I got that issue once, but wasn't able to duplicate it.

I'm getting issues with Google Chrome and Safari browsers. Whenever I enter for the first time it redirects me first to my control panel and quickly to an invalid redirect page instead of the index page. I have to go back on the browser and try again.

must be a chrome issue then, I was able to log on normal the first day the site came back, but ever since the redirect has failed.

If you log in the redirect works ok but if you are in automatic login that's when the issues happen.

I'm on Chrome and auto login, have not had a problem (knock on wood).

Thanks for doing the stuff that needs doing, Mr. Brumbie sir. A small point, but I donated a while back and do not have a donor thingy next to my name. Sigh.

What shape are you in financially? Do we need to do another round of donations or do you have enough stashed away for now?

Thanks for bringing that up Stinson Driver. I will make sure you get what you are owed.

As far as financially, I think I am set now. Things aren't exactly easy, but I have appreciated the much needed break that the previous round of donations provided me, as well and the slow trickle that come in every now and then.

You mean donations, not you trying to pee, right?

If it's pee he might have some prostate problems. :hi:

Well, when taken in its completely unaltered context, it appears so. Sorry Brumbie... If i get some spare funds i shall donate!

Stinson Driver... Sorry for the delay, you have been given donor status and a bigger inbox. Thank you!
