Fiat 500 L(arge).
Looks way too similar to Sedici/SX4 to be sold along the Suzuki-Fiat baby

Front end is really 500. :) Local magazine says those are real photos, but it till looks like render to me.

Personally, I prefer this render.

Looks more like "cross" model. With Panda's AWD, 1.3 multijet (diesel) and a reasonable price it could be my next car. Especially having it's factory (and most of the spare parts manufacturers) 100 km away from me. :D

500L should be presented at Geneva car show, mid of March. I guess we won't see the car itself before.

I think it's really ugly, actually. I like the standard 500, the 500C, and the Abarth, but do not like the red version above. The rear side windows get that same treatment as the MINI Countryman, which I don't find attractive. Also, the wheels look too small.

And I agree: The orange version looks better.

The orange iteration looks 100x better, the other is awful...just awful.

Well, Multipla was and still is the ugliest piece of metal ever on the road.

But once I went inside I simply loved it. Probably the best car interior I've ever seen. I completely understand people who own one. Let's wait and see what L will offer.

I find interesting that Fiat went against all trends in car exterior design. They went for something that will stand out from all those aggressive curves of modern cars. L doesn't frown at you like most of the cars do these days. Nothing macho about it. Could be nice for a change.

Red one has potential if it didn't have that stupid rear window cut-off.

Orange one is awesome! Much better balanced.

Auto Edizione: Fiat Sedici Successor to be Built in Mirafiori in 2014 (http://www.autoedizione.com/2012/02/03/fiat-sedici-successor-to-be-build-in-mirafiori-in-2014/)

Sedici's successor apparently will share the 500L's platform but is slated for production in Italy as a separate model. The article speculates that Suzuki "could well benefit" from use of the same platform.

Looks like a copy of Cooper to me with Fiat 500 front.

Same here.
Those designers of today have no own invention, just stock libraries and Ctrl-V everywhere :(

Fiat's countryman. :)

Dimensions are close to SX4. It's 1 cm shorter, 2.5 cm wider and 5.5 cm taller than SX4. As it has lower ground clearance, there must be plenty of headroom inside with that height.

Panda: Yes.
500L: No.

Man, it looks like a poorly done die-cast car. Fenders too tall; wheels too small.

To me, it's one of those things where you start out with a blank piece of paper and THIS is what you come up with? There were a bunch of people sitting around the table and going, "Yeah, this looks great." I know design is a subjective thing, but man; this really is hideous to me.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'd love a Panda, but this 500L gives me irritable bowel syndrome.

Postmodernist design, possibly with some 'great' computer aided project management solutions (Hi, so you wanna design a new car? Click IDEAS BIN to recycle one or CANCEL to quit) :(
