Has anyone installed or seen a roof minted light pod on a sx4 crossover? I was thinking about one like is found on a Jeep Liberty.

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQccIklpETkeyPlgVo5qxwNKDgvat3jn mNbvYTfwz9zWHoDiTURUg

I came across a few aftermarket ones, none that I really like though.

So far I think I'm gonna try this one off ebay,

I haven't seen one installed on an SX4. It might look cool. How do you plan to attach the light pod to the roof?

That looks pretty cool! I'd love to see this mounted on a either a lifted or rallyed out SX4! If it's lightweight enough, 3M double-sided foam tape should hold it on without drilling any holes. I dunno about running the wiring to it though, I suppose you could run it up the door jamb maybe.

I believe it mounts w/ tape. And ours is lifted. I plan on running wires out the door, we'll see how all that works. Thats how my rover is, but it's a bit looser than the suzuki.

I ordered the light pod off ebay from a china seller (I know, killed me to do it but I saved $100) and now I've gotten a delayed shipment notification, it's been 3 weeks but I'm crossing my fingers. I was originally looking at Jeep parts, but they're prohibitively expensive.

Awesome....can we get a pic or two of what it would look like hood mounted?

Yeah, I'll get it this weekend. I'm afraid you'll have to be a bit more creative mounting to the hood, as-is it'll point pretty low. I'll also loosen the lights and see how far up they'll point, because of the fairing it didn't look like much. I think it would mount on my subaru pretty good, but also think it would eat up quite a bit of visibility.

Sorry... didn't get it that weekend. Did get a pic today, sorry I didn't take much time to get a good pic but here it is. Any lower than this and it would have slid off. If you were very creative cutting the mount you could get it to work, but I feel theres better options for the hood. Unfortunately there is is almost zero adjustability.

I'm bringing this back from the dead, but has anyone done this yet? I think it has potential to look pretty sweet if done right and I'm interested in doing it but I want to see pictures first. eBay has a few options.

I was thinking the first one would look the best on the SX4.

Until someone comments on the actual beam pattern and if they're even useful, I don't think I would go through the trouble of fitting one.

Plus at this point I think I'd like something I could adjust to the sides more than forward facing light. I have 8 forward facing lights already, do I really need 12? ;)

I thought you had 6, where are these other 2 lights?

I remember I emailed the people a while back with questions about these setups, asking how many watts they were. It was a big deal that no one knew how many watts, then a long time later, I got an email that said they were 21watt.
The dimensions will obviously fit our roof, but I believe our hood is soo curved that if you were to hood mount them the light would be aiming right at the ground in 10 feet in front of the car...
I did find a better light pod in UK that was waaay better, totally different setup, just don't know if it's worth the shipping.

None of the pictures work anymore. I would like to see. How do you run wiring From the roof?
